The fight for safe access and patient’s rights
throughout San Diego
County is in full swing
and we need your help!
This month in partnership with Canvass for a Cause
our chapter has launched the signature gathering effort in Imperial Beach to place the Safe Access
Ordinance of Imperial Beach on the City’s ballot in November 2012. If passed
the initiative would overturn the city’s current ban on safe access and replace
it with reasonable regulations and zoning restrictions for collectives and
cooperatives wishing to operate in Imperial
Beach.
Today, there will be a weekly volunteer meeting in Imperial Beach at the
campaign headquarters (1233 Palm
Ave) at 2pm, where we will be providing signature
gathering and voter registration training. Anyone interested in volunteering to
gather signatures in Imperial Beach,
should attend this training! After the training, we will be going throughout
the city to gather signatures!
On Tuesday, March 27 join us in Oceanside
for the North County Chapter Meeting and on the 30th join our Chief Counsel Joe
Elford for a Legal Seminar on Navigating Safe Access to Medical Marijuana
through the California
State and Federal Courts.

Yesterday our team gathered
over 70 signatures in less then three hours. Join us today at the campaign

North County ASA meeting. At the meeting we will discuss the latest medical
