Over the last several months our
chapter has actively been working on strategic planning for next year. At both
the November and December chapter meetings, an idea that every strategic
planning group suggested was the need to open dialogue with our newly elected
officials in the city, the goal of the dialogue being to advance regulations for
safe access to medical marijuana.
I am pleased to announce that the
honorable Bob Filner, the newly elected Mayor of the City of San Diego will be
joining us at next Tuesday’s San Diego Americans for
Safe Access chapter meeting to help advance this dialogue. As a congressman
representing California
As many of you may remember,
towards the end of 2011 and shortly after announcing his candidacy, Mayor Filner
attended our rally in Ocean Beach
Tuesday’s meeting will be live
streamed (stay tuned for live stream addresses) also, please plan on getting
there early as parking and seating is limited.
